How long does a Coffee Break last?

That's up to you. A Coffee Break usually lasts between 20 and 45 minutes: the idea is to offer an encounter that's easy to fit into your day, without disrupting your schedule. And if the conversation carries you away? Nothing stops you from staying longer. The best encounters don't watch the clock.

No, that's not what UnCafé is about. UnCafé was born with a different ambition: helping people disconnect from screens to reconnect in real life, through a real conversation between two people over a coffee.

You might meet a student, an entrepreneur, a parent, a retiree, a creative, or simply someone whose story intrigues you. The goal isn't to look for love, but to create connection. And just like in real life, we don't decide what happens next. A great friendship, a collaboration, a mentor, or even a love story… it's up to each person to write what comes after their encounter.

Can I chat with the person before the Coffee Break?

Very little. We want the encounter to happen in real life first. Once your Break is confirmed, you can simply exchange a few practical messages to make your meet-up easier.

What happens if I can no longer make it?

Life happens. Let your partner know as soon as possible so they don't travel for nothing. Respecting everyone's time is part of UnCafé's values.

All encounters take place in public places. Every member agrees to UnCafé's trust framework before taking part. After each Break, you can also report inappropriate behavior to help keep the community kind and safe.

If you enjoy the adventure, you can then choose to subscribe to keep joining Coffee Breaks. The subscription allows us to maintain an engaged community, offer a quality selection of profiles, and provide an experience designed above all to foster real encounters.
